| Deb & Chris during their rehersal at the Venetian hotel, Las Vegas.

This was an immediate and easy choice for both of us! We knew getting married 5,000 miles from home was enough for our friends and family to deal with. Forget renting tuxes and buying horrid bridesmaid dresses that you know you'll never let see the light of day again. Nope. We're much happier having our closest present without the additional troubles, hassels and expenses of being an attendant. (Thats what families for, right?!??)
So..... Frankie had long decided Chris was to be his best man, before Frankie had ever even proposed. Even before Frankie had received the phone call from Chris asking Frankie to be Chris's best man in Las Vegas. (Well actually, Deb & Chris called us jointly, asking us at the same time to join them as Best Man and Maid of Honor for their special day!)
Though Deb and Cynthia had some natural sister rivalry as youngsters living together, their friendship has blossomed into something wonderful only sisters can share!
Chris and Deb are both the closest to us in our 'ohana, so naturally, we both want Deb and Chris as our Matron of Honor and Best Man. We wouldn't have it any other way!
So as Deb and Chris's story goes......Cynthia and Frank told them both (many many MANY times) "I don't care when, where or how, just give us a few days and we'll be there by your side!" Two plane tickets and five weeks after Deb and Chris phoned all of us with the news, we were both standing next to them in romantic Venetian hotel in Las Vegas witnessing their vows.
Two years and a day less, we'll be standing next to each other again, this time on a magical island of paradise called Maui, with their two closest saying I Do.
